Products Description

Walk into any maintenance bay, fabrication shop, or small factory, and you'll see this exact configuration: A yellow electric chain hoist hanging from a red manual push trolley on an I-beam. There's a reason it's everywhere. It's the lowest cost of entry for powered overhead lifting.
The Rayvanbo HHBB Electric Chain Hoist paired with a Manual Trolley gives you the muscle of electric lifting without the cost of motorized bridge travel. You push the load horizontally by hand-or with a tag line-and lift with the push of a button. It's simple, it's reliable, and it's safe because you control the positioning speed with your own two feet.
If your beam is under 30 feet long and you're not moving tons of steel per hour, this setup will serve you for 20 years with minimal fuss.

Key Features: Why the HHBB + Manual Trolley Combo Works
Feature 1: HHBB Lightweight Electric Chain Hoist Body
Attribute: Aluminum die-cast housing with cast iron gearbox insert. Grade 80 load chain.
Advantage: The aluminum body sheds heat fast and keeps the overall weight low. The chain is calibrated link-by-link for smooth engagement with the pocket wheel.
Benefit: Easier to install on a ladder. A 2-ton HHBB weighs just 45 kg. You can hang it on the trolley without renting a second crane.
Feature 2: Manual Trolley with Anti-Tilt Rollers
Attribute: Four-wheel articulated trolley with hardened steel treads and side guide rollers.
Advantage: The trolley hugs the beam flange. Even if you push from an angle, the guide rollers prevent the trolley from binding or trying to climb off the rail.
Benefit: One-person operation. You don't need a second guy on a tag line to keep the trolley straight.
Feature 3: Trolley Width Adjustment
Attribute: Spacers and adjustable clevis plates allow the wheel span to be set from 58mm to 203mm flange width.
Advantage: One trolley fits multiple beam sizes. If you change buildings or add a new beam, you don't buy a new trolley.
Benefit: Future-proofing your investment. This is the #1 reason rental yards stock this unit.
Feature 4: Pendant Control with Strain Relief
Attribute: 6-button pendant (Up/Down, E-Stop) with a steel cable strain relief running inside the cord.
Advantage: The weight of the pendant hangs on the steel cable, not the thin copper wires inside.
Benefit: You won't be chasing broken wires inside the pendant cord 6 months from now.
Structure & Components: What You're Actually Touching
The Chain Container (Bag): The black canvas bag hanging off the side. It catches the slack end of the load chain. Never operate the hoist without the chain bag attached. The loose chain end will swing and wrap around the beam or your arm.
The Clutch Pack (Inside Gearbox): A stack of friction discs that slip if you overload. If you hear a loud squealing/chirping when lifting, stop. You're over 110% capacity.
The Trolley Hand Chain (Optional): Some manual trolleys come with a continuous loop hand chain hanging down. You pull the chain to move the trolley instead of pushing the load. This is safer if you're moving heavy loads near the edge of a mezzanine. We offer Hand Geared Trolley versions for this exact scenario.
Bottom Hook & Latch: Forged alloy steel. The latch is spring-loaded and must snap shut. If the spring is weak, the latch hangs open, and the sling can slip out. Replace the hook assembly immediately.
Products Application

Applications: Where This Setup Makes the Most Sense
Small Engine Repair Shops: Lifting V8 engines out of trucks. The manual trolley lets you roll the engine back from the firewall without power.
Fabrication Shops: Moving steel plate from the saw to the layout table. The operator stands at the pendant and pulls the load along the beam by hand.
Pump Maintenance: Lifting vertical pump motors out of the volute. The manual trolley gives you the inching control to align the shaft keyway perfectly.
Warehouse Mezzanines: Loading pallets onto a mezzanine from a truck bay below. The low headroom design of the HHBB fits tight spaces.
Shipping & Packing

Packaging & Delivery
Packaging: Hoist and trolley ship assembled together in a heavy-duty cardboard carton with foam inserts. Palletized for freight.
Lead Time: Standard voltage/models: 1-3 Business Days from US warehouse.
Shipping: LTL Freight Class 70. We can ship single units via UPS Ground if under 150 lbs total.
Customization (OEM & Special Requirements)
Voltage: 220V Single Phase, 230V/460V 3 Phase, 575V 3 Phase (Canada).
Chain Length: Custom lift heights up to 40m (requires larger chain container).
Trolley Type: Plain Push Trolley (standard) or Hand Geared Trolley (chain loop). Geared trolley gives you mechanical advantage for moving heavy loads on a slight incline.
Beam Flange Width: Non-standard flanges? We machine custom spacer kits.
Corrosion Protection: Nickel-plated load chain for food processing and outdoor wash-down areas.
Installation & Setup: How to Hang It Without Dying
Time Estimate: 1.5 hours for a 2-ton unit on an existing beam.
What You Need:
Two Ladders (or a scissor lift). Do not try to balance a 45 kg hoist on a single ladder.
Ratchet Straps: Use a strap to hang the trolley from the beam while you bolt the hoist to it.
Torque Wrench: Trolley clamp bolts must be tightened to 40 ft-lbs. Loose trolleys wear out beam flanges.
Step-by-Step:
Clamp trolley to beam. Adjust width so wheels contact flange firmly but turn freely by hand.
Hang hoist from trolley clevis using the top hook or lug mount. Insert cotter pin through clevis pin.
Connect power cable to hoist plug (twist-lock or hardwire).
Run hoist UP slowly. Listen for chain engagement. Stop if you hear grinding.

FAQ
Q: We're equipping a new production line with 12 of these hoists. What's the real long-term maintenance cost I need to budget for, not the fantasy number in the brochure?
A: Let's talk real numbers. Over a 10-year lifespan, the maintenance cost for an HHBB manual trolley combo is less than 8% of the purchase price per year, assuming 1,000 operating hours annually. The big expenses aren't the hoist body-it's pendant cable replacement (guys yank on them) and chain replacement (if they lift abrasive loads without cleaning the chain). Budget $150 per hoist per year for a service kit: brake pads, limit switch springs, and a new pendant cable. That's it. If your maintenance team actually does the monthly inspection checklist we provide, you won't see a major gearbox repair for 12-15 years. If they don't, you'll need a new gearbox in year 5. The difference is discipline, not parts quality.
Q: I'm a purchasing manager. Why should I pay more for Rayvanbo when I can get a no-name import for 30% less?
A: I'll give you the answer your plant manager will appreciate: Interchangeability and lead time. The HHBB is built on the standard Japanese/Korean mounting footprint (Hitachi/Kito pattern). If a gearbox fails on a no-name hoist in year 4, you can't buy the gear set. You throw the hoist away and buy a new one-plus pay for two hours of electrician time to rewire a different pendant plug. With Rayvanbo, we stock every single gear, bearing, and brake coil in Houston and Chicago. You call us, we ship the part same day, and your millwright fixes it in 90 minutes. Downtime avoidance is where the 30% premium pays for itself on the first repair.
Q: We're a union shop. Our guys are rough on equipment. How idiot-proof is the trolley? Can they break it by side-loading?
A: Side-loading will break anything eventually, but the Rayvanbo manual trolley has two features that delay the inevitable. First, the anti-tilt guide rollers I mentioned earlier. They take the side thrust instead of the main wheel bearings. Second, the clevis pin connection between hoist and trolley is a shear point designed to bend at 15 degrees of off-angle pull. If your guy side-pulls hard, the pin bends, the hoist hangs crooked, and they call maintenance. The pin is a $4 part that takes 5 minutes to change. It's a sacrificial fuse. Better to replace a bent pin than to rebuild the entire trolley cross-shaft because the wheel flanges got chewed up.
Q: We need 50 units for a large infrastructure project. What's your supply chain stability? I can't have a container stuck in customs delaying our site handover.
A: Standard answer: We have US inventory. Better answer: The HHBB is built with a domestic electrical panel (Allen-Bradley contactors or Eaton breakers, depending on spec). Even if the hoist body is manufactured overseas, the control panel is built and tested in our Texas facility. That means the part most likely to fail from voltage spikes is US-sourced and locally replaceable. For a 50-unit order, we offer progressive delivery-10 units every 2 weeks. You start installation while the rest of the batch is in transit. We also provide a single point of contact project manager who gives you a live tracking link to the vessel and the rail car.
Q: I'm comparing this to a motorized trolley. Is manual really the way to go for a 5-ton unit?
A: At 5 tons (11,000 lbs), pushing the load by hand is borderline. You can do it on a short beam (under 20ft) with a smooth floor and a clean beam. But if your operator has to push that 5-ton load 50 feet every cycle, they'll be exhausted by lunch, and productivity drops. For 5-ton applications, we strongly suggest the Hand Geared Trolley option. You pull a continuous chain loop, and the gear reduction gives you a 12:1 mechanical advantage. It's like pedaling a bike in low gear. You move the load slower, but you can do it all day without popping a hernia. If budget allows, go Motorized Trolley. If not, Hand Geared is the smart compromise.
