Applications of Self Retractable Fall Arrester
The Self Retractable Fall Arrester is employed for safety protection during crane operations to prevent accidental falls of suspended workpieces. It effectively safeguards the lives of ground operators and prevents damage to suspended workpieces.
Widely used in industries such as metallurgy, automobile manufacturing, petrochemicals, engineering construction, electric power, shipping, communications, pharmaceuticals, and bridge construction, it boasts high strength, wear resistance, durability, mildew resistance, acid and alkali resistance, as well as simplicity, portability, and safety.
Guidelines for the use of self retractable fall arrester:
- Hang the fall arrester high and secure on a stable blunt-edged surface above the user.
- Before use, inspect the safety rope, and ensure proper locking by testing it two to three times. (Test lock method: Pull out the safety rope at a steady pace; there should be a audible click. Pull the safety rope hard; it should lock. When released, the safety rope should retract automatically. If it doesn't fully retract, pull out some safety rope.) Discontinue use if any abnormalities are detected.
- During tilting operations with the fall arrest device, the tilt should ideally not exceed 30 degrees. If it exceeds 30 degrees, assess whether it might impact surrounding objects.
- The key components of the fall arrest device undergo special treatments for wear and corrosion resistance and are rigorously tested. No lubrication is required during use.
- Avoid kinking the safety rope of the fall arrester. It is strictly prohibited to disassemble or modify. Store in a dry, low-dust environment.
